The Mellow Stream Lodge is walking distance from the venue, perfect for guests who want to catch an early night after an eventful day. Fall asleep in peaceful surroundings with the sounds of nature in your ears. Wake up in paradise and enjoy your morning coffee from the boma facing the waterfall. A delicious traditional farmhouse breakfast is included with your stay. The lodge is perfect for any family event of birthday party. There is a fully equip kitchen with dining table and lounge with DSTV. On the outside there is a big veranda and a spacious boma area to make a bon fire or braai. The children can keep them busy to play ball games on our big lawn or go down with tubes in the river while the parents have a braai in the river-lapa. The church is 131 years old and was built by hand out of granite that was found in the area. If getting married in a majestic church is a childhood dream, the Klipkerk will be a dream come true. The outside boma makes for a sociable atmosphere where guests can enjoy some fresh air and conversation away from the dance floor and bar. It is the ideal place to treat guests to welcome drinks and entrees upon arrival and serves as the entry hall to the rest of the venue. Open large ceiling-to-floor doors at the end of the hall and create a natural picturesque background. A fireplace will chase away the cold on winter nights. The adjacent kitchen ensures that food is warm and fresh when served. A special kiddies’ corner, on the outside of the venue but still under-roof is the ideal area to accommodate children. It is large enough to provide them with their own seating area and a jumping castle.
