Content of Course Identify different hazardous material and liquids. Course Objective Learners will be able to use and inspect lifting equipment safe and according to manufactures standards and in accordance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act. Reporting any defective equipment to the responsible person. Target Population Employees, Contractors working or assisting mechanics working on mobile machinery. Course Objective Learners will be informed of the dangers and rules and regulations in general or as site specific for the company, informing and correct application of PPE, company information and dangers involving in the works place, introduction and function of safety and MHSA & OHSA Acts in the works place, emergency evacuation process. Target Population Employees using these tools and equipment in performing their daily tasks and duties in their work place. Course Objective Learners will be able to use all of the equipment and tools safe and according to Manufactures specifications. Content of Course Function of equipment, storage and care for equipment, component and checklist reporting, Correct PPE, legislation regarding using of the equipment, operating the equipment. Identify, inspect, use, maintain and care for engineering hand tools (hammer, chisel, cutting torch and other) Target Population Employees using and erecting access scaffolding performing their daily tasks and duties in their works place. Target Population Employees working with other employees in works areas were storage of material and products in needed. Course Objective Learners will be able to identify the correct storage methods and store material accordingly to company regulations. Course Objective Learners will be able to operate and use the vehicle safe and according to manufactures standards and in accordance to MHSA and OHSA regulations. Target Population Employees performing their daily duties using a Rigid Vehicle in their working environment.
